Dorian the Bear - Original Painting

Dorian has just finished his lunch of fine Alaskan salmon. He had quite a successful fishing trip this morning and is feeling pretty chuffed with himself, not that he’s one to gloat. He is waiting for the sun to dip behind the lonesome pine so that he can have a comfortable afternoon nap before his nephews arrive.

I painted Dorian on a different shaped board so that I could show off his amazing strength. I really enjoyed working with the geometric shapes in his fur and bringing together a new colour palette, which feels so comforting.
